TOYOTA GAZOO Racing World Rally Team (TGR-WRT) is a unique high-performance development and competition oriented company based in Jyväskylä, Finland.

TGR-WRT is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Toyota Motor Corporation and is the home of TOYOTA’s World Rally Championship works team as well as the headquarters for TOYOTA’s customer motorsport rally operations.

The World Rally Team is operated by a dedicated team of 150 colleagues.

We are now looking for an Information Security Officer to strengthen our team in Jyväskylä Finland.

In this position, you would represent TGR-WRT in information security topics. Your tasks would involve cooperation between other departments especially the management team and IT while implementing information security strategies following Toyota Motor Corporation policies. This would involve monitoring network usage to ensure compliance with security policies as well as keeping up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats. We would wish you to be able to identify vulnerabilities in our current network, organising penetration tests to find any flaws. Your tasks would also involve documenting and reporting of any security breaches and assessing their damage.

For this role, we do not expect you to be an expert yet but wish you to have a degree in computer science or a technology-related field and some experience in an information security role. It is crucial for you to have good communication and negotiation skills as this role involves a lot of cooperation between other departments at TGR-WRT and also reporting and representing in communication between TMC and TGR-WRT. In addition, we would wish that you would not shy away from educating colleagues about security software and best practices for information security.
